The MuscleBuddy iOS and Android apps include Capacitor Updater, which delivers over-the-air updates to the app. It is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. You can obtain its complete Source Code Form from the project repository linked here, at no charge beyond the cost of distribution. Our own application code is not covered by that licence and is not made available under it; the MPL covers this component and any modifications we make to its own files.

Why this page exists

Some of the components inside the MuscleBuddy apps are open source, and some of their licenses ask us to tell you so and to tell you where their source code can be obtained. The Mozilla Public License 2.0 is one of those: where we distribute an app containing a component under that license, you are entitled to the source code of that component, and this page is where we point you to it.

This obligation is about the components listed here, not about MuscleBuddy itself. Our own application code stays proprietary and is not offered under any of these licenses.

Getting the source code

Every entry above links the project repository the component is published from, which is where its complete Source Code Form is available at no charge. If a repository has moved or a link no longer resolves, write to garrett@garrettmakesit.com and we will send you the source for the exact version shipped in the release you have, at no more than the cost of distribution.

Keeping this page honest

This list is not maintained by hand against memory. Our build checks the actual dependency tree of the iOS and Android apps on every change: a component with one of these licenses that is not listed here fails the build, and so does an entry here for a component the apps no longer contain.
