Switch without starting over

Switch from Lab results without losing your history

Load real bloodwork history from a health record export.

How to export from Lab results

  1. Open your lab or health-system portal, or the Health Records section of the Apple Health app.
  2. Find the option to export or download your health record.
  3. Choose the FHIR or JSON format if you are offered a choice.
  4. Upload the file here.
  • FHIR is the standard format health systems use to hand you your own records, so most portals can produce one.
  • A PDF of your results is not readable here. It has to be the structured export.

What comes across

• Each lab panel with the date it was drawn

• Individual marker values with their units

• The reference flag your lab attached, where it is present

What your export cannot carry

• Markers are matched on their standard lab codes. Anything that does not match a marker we track is reported back to you rather than dropped silently.

• Only structured results import. Free-text notes from a report are not read.

Every one of these is a property of the export file itself, not a guess. Anything the file does not contain is reported to you in the preview rather than filled in.

What imported data counts for

Your history, personal records, charts and analytics come with you. Ranks, XP and achievements are earned here, so imported sessions never move them.

That line is the whole deal, and it is deliberate. A rank anyone can produce with a spreadsheet is worth nothing, so ranks, XP, achievements, streaks and leaderboards are driven only by what you log here. Everything that describes your training rather than scoring it, which is your history, your personal records, your charts and your analytics, uses your imported data from day one.

How the import works

Upload a FHIR bundle, usually a .json file and nothing is written yet. You get a preview first: how many rows of each kind, the date range they cover, which names matched automatically, and which need a decision from you.

When you approve it, the rows are written and stamped as part of that import. If a day already has an entry you made yourself, your own entry wins and the imported row is skipped, and the skip is counted and shown rather than quietly dropped.

Changed your mind? One button removes every row that import created and leaves everything else alone. You can upload the same file again months later too. Rows that already exist are skipped instead of duplicated, so you only ever gain what is new.

Your file, and how long we keep it

The uploaded file is stored privately for a short retention window so an import can be retried, then deleted. Undo keeps working after that, because it is keyed to the import rather than the file. Your account holds the data, and you can export it or delete your account at any time.

Frequently asked

Where do I get a FHIR file?
From your lab or health system’s patient portal, or from the Health Records section of Apple Health if your provider is connected to it.
What happens to results we do not recognise?
They are listed in the preview as unmatched before anything is written, so you can see exactly what came across and what did not.
Can I undo an import?
Yes. Every row an import writes is stamped with that import, so one button removes all of it and leaves anything you logged yourself untouched. You can also upload the same file again later. Rows that already exist are skipped rather than duplicated.
